The Futuristic facade of the shopping mall "Stary Browar" in Poznan has an interesting illumination, which allows you to see after dark, fragments invisible by day and also produces new forms.
There was only white light used. Most of lamps includes a gas-discharge light source (fluorescent lamp) and is directed to the facade of the building. The other components of lighting, that is line and point LED lamps are directed to the street.
As a curiosity we could mention an additional DMX-512 socket input placed in the square in front of the building. That way, during concerts and other cultural events in front of the shopping mall, elevation lighting can be easily connected to the external steering panel of stage and thus "enable" it into the held on the square event.
The PXM company has provided LED lamps along with drivers, DMX512/0-10V converters (required for controlling fluorescent lamps), dividers and adders DMX-512 bus and the central controller. The entire installation is working based on the DMX-512 protocol.
